Special Effects Wildflower Hair Dye

The lovely Kate!
Kate said: "Here is Wildflower on bleached hair one day after dyeing. This is a
very solid purple, with silvery blue highlights indoors, and hot pink
highlights outdoors."

The beautiful Madame Archel
She said: "I absolutely adore Wildflower, it's actually more purple than blue, but it
is a blue-based purple and not red in the slightest. My favorite! (The
color in the length of my hair is extensions.)"

"(photo 1) Wildflower, in the process of dying. I kept the hair around the frame of my face blonde (so I sort of had "blonde trim" hehe). The color was applied over very very pale-yellow blonde. The result after rinsing was a slightly deeper purple, but quite similar to this color.
(photo 2) - My Wildflower, after about a week and a half. It almost looks pink here, but in different light, it takes on diff shades. In sunlight, it's a nice medium purple. In flourescent light, it varies from lavenderish-blue to light blue.
(photo 3) - Wildflower, after about 2 weeks. Nice variety of color here.
(photo 4) - Another pic of the dyeing process. This color is as close to the end result as I could find. And as an added note, plastic wrap is a helpful tool! ^_^"

"Here's some pictures with wildflower,
with some white on top as well.
my camera disappointed me,
and the color came out very blue,
but it's really a bright and bold shade of
purple in person. I love it ;D"

"Fishbowl and Wildflower
This stuck around for about 2 months. Fishbowl faded much faster than the
Wildflower...but it faded away nicely. Dyed over white-blond pre-bleached
hair. In most pictures Wildflower turns out a pretty Royal blue...but in
real life it was actually a very nice purple."

" A friend of mine bought some of your Special Effects dye for me a month or
so ago, just when I thought I had tried almost every hair color (and
especially semi-permanent color) out there. Below are some pics of the
results.
The dark violet around my face, at the crown of my head, and at the nape of
my neck is Wildflower. I pre-lightened my hair all over to a pale yellow,
seperated out what I wanted to use the Wildflower on, and voila. It fades to
a soft lavender, which is exactly what I wanted. The predominant silver
color in my hair is my own formulation of professional hair color.
Enjoy (I certainly have)."

The three colors overlay each other in back when I flop my head around, but
here all you can really see is the Pimpin' Purple (near my neck) and
Wildflower (the bright blue sitting front and center). The 'black' hair at
the bottom of the frame is actually blue - Blue Velvet, that is! It's damp
and clean, the day after dyeing, Jan 07.
I don't have a two-weeks-after shot of my Wildflower like I do of the other
two colors, because frankly, Wildflower has yet to show me its wild
color-changing abilities. I expect it to, given how much a reputation my
hair has for allowing colors to migrate and warp over their lifetimes.
I'll keep you updated if it does anything especially special. For now, it
seems happy to be a rich crayola blue, FAR less purplley than any of the
other photos on this page. ^^

I bleached out the underside first
... and then used the Special Effects Wildflower (covered it with plastic wrap and
left on for just over an hour) and it turned out AWESOME!!! I'm really
pleased with the color, in some of the shots it looks deceptively blue,
but it's a really intense electric blue-purple color. The shots were
taken right after I died it.

"
I used wildflower,
atomic pink, and fishbowl. It's been almost a week
and they're still pretty bright, but some of the tips
are fading a bit.

Wildflower after 4 washes

"I just dyed my hair with special effects wildflower on my bangs and pimpin
purple on the rest. my results were AWESOME. the wildflower actually came
out a dark ultraviolet blue (it confuses a lot of people) and the pimpin
purple came out more like a bright magenta purple color. my biggest
compliment is from cosplay people who are shocked it isn't a wig, the
color's so unnaturally bright and pretty."
"I wanted to add more to my description, as I just redyed it again.
I would describe wildflower as a blue sharpie color. a very dark blue
verging on purple . . but most people think it's blue. a really nice color,
I like it, it fades a pale purple."
