"I thought you might like some photos of a dye job I did a couple years ago with Purple Smoke and Joyride (I noticed you don't have very many photos of those colors)...I have attatched them for you :) I took the photos the same day I dyed my hair. I loved the pastel purple tones and the range of colors they shifted through as they slowly faded. The Purple Smoke does indeed have a mysterious iridescent quality that I have not seen in any other color of hair dye. Just beautiful! These colors fade very gracefully (the Joyride faded relatively quickly while the Purple Smoke lingered several weeks longer) with no icky colors anywhere along the line. I let my hair fade for 4 months until all the purple was gone and I was left with plain bleached out chunks."

"This color can only truly be described as "deceptive". It started out pastel blue-violet, but turned into this weird blue/pink combo after the first shampoo. It's opalescent in nature, and can appear anywhere from a light cool violet, to hot pink, depending on the angle of the lighting. I've had lots of compliments and questions on this one, as it tends to stop people mid-sentence as they try to figure out if it's actually pink or blue. I can't really capture this effect in a picture, so it's something you'd just have to see firsthand."
