The roots of my natural hair in front are colored with SFX Hot Lava. It's a very orange-red with day-glo intensity and none of the darkness SFX usually starts out with. It was left on for 2 hours over freshly bleached pale yellow to mid-orange hair before rinsing. This is the color freshly dyed.

Two photos of Special Effects Hot Lava - the one at the left was taken at 4 weeks after dyeing, the one on the right was 6 weeks after dyeing. The Contributor said:

"For some reason, Hot Lava came out pretty orange for me. It quickly faded into a kind of altoids-tangerine color, and in the end (nearly 2 months later) it was pretty crazy, blonde at the bottom, orange at the top, and red underneath."
