Petticoats!

Petticoats in a variety of lengths and looks. We're proud to carry Leg Avenue items! Where a large photo exists you can get to it by clicking on the photos shown below. Unless otherwise specified, all items are 'one size fits most'.

Suggestions for perfect selection:
1. Look at where the widest part of the 'pouf' is. That's where you'll have the most volume.
2. If you're wearing a skirt over your petticoat, it needs to be very light material to get the max pouf.
3. Bell skirt-shapes: wear a wide petticoat that has more pouf near your waist and upper hips.
4. Triangle skirt-shapes: wear a petticoat that gives more volume near your knee area.
5. Layering helps! - If you need extra volume, or want a bell shape but peeking out lace, layer 2 for your perfect look.
Please take advantage of the measurements and measure where your selection will fall on you. We recommend measuring from where you will wear it, whether that is your 'natural waist' or your hipbones. This will help you get the perfect pouf for your look!

Polkadot Petticoat

2 layers of netting with a double-layer of polka-dot edging on each layer (total of 4). This would look so cute peeking out from a short skirt, or layered with a longer petticoat for a more opaque look. Both stock photos above are shown over ruffled rhumba panties.

Gothic Lolita petticoat

An elegant 3 layered petticoat - the bottom layer is semi-sheer, the next layer up is 2 layers of fine tulle, and the beautiful top layer is satin, lace and tulle finery with black rose-ribbon bows every few inches. A beautiful petticoat for a beautiful young lady!

Gothic Lolita Petticoat - Black

Petticoat with Special Lace Trim

The sole purpose of this beautifully trimmed petticoat is to add a little extra volume to the mid-thigh length of your skirts and/or to have the bottom lace be seen. Very nice lace for a non-handmade petticoat, we included a detail shot of it above to give you an idea of how lovely it is (and another photo of it layered under the Gothic Lolita Petticoat. Simply stunning!

Layered Tulle Petticoat

2 layers of netting with a double-layer netting at the edge of each layer (total of 4). Nice 'triangle' shape to this petticoat!, and the extra netting would look cute peeking out from under a skirt edge. For a cute 80's look, you could layer 2 or more with tights!

These generally fit a ladies 1x-2x plus (the manufacturer says: Plus - size: 16 - 24; weight: 165 - 190 lbs.), I'm sorry that I don't have any separate measurements of these, but as I'm not plus size, measuring one on me may be misleading.

Puffy Chiffon Mini Petticoat

2 layers of netting with a double-layer netting at the edge of the layer (total of 2) - it's sewn such that the edge of the top layer poufs out more! When poufed out from the flat storage bag, this is almost nearly straight out to the sides. This is getting close to a cute tutu, you could either layer this, wear with cute ruffley rhumba panties under it, or use under the appropriate skirt to give a bell-shape to your skirt.
