"When wearing Matte White with a camera flash, or in Floridian noonday sunlight, I always seem to look far more Gothy than usual, which is normally a good thing when going out, but can sometimes suck when taking pictures for the website.

In the two (above) pictures, I'm wearing Swag Eyeshadow PlusPlus in the tear ducts, and Alive all over the lid to the browbone. I wanted it messy, to go with the tough girl cammo look when I was going to the beach. These are two colors that I love on redheads."

" In (the above photo), I'm wearing Alive again, this time in natural sunlight, with a bit of Niente loose shadow blended into grey eyeliner on the bottom lid, along with Matte White Pressed Powder. The combination looks stunning on green/blue eyes because the blue enhances the color, while the copper contrasts. (I made those dreads myself! My first attempt, too... "

" The glimmer in (the photo directly above) doesn't show up easily, but I'm wearing Firebrand with a little bit of Blood pigment dust that I mixed together on my own, applying it wet and then dusting more dry dust over the top and on the brow bone. I finished it up with Matte White Pressed Powder. "

" In (the photo directly above), I'm sporting the handblended lipgloss in Pixel. Instead of wanting a vinyl look, I wanted something a little more sheer, because my falls were so shimmery and black gloss on black lipstick would look too heavy. I just layered it over Fizzy Peach lipbalm, which my boyfriend LOVES. I'm also wearing Matte White, of course. "

Athena as Crane from Petshop of Horrors. She is wearing Waiting for Midnight handblended lipstick. You can see another photo of her in our Wig Customer Gallery. The photo above was taken by Elvy.

"The black j-rocker wig began life as a Cleo. I put it up and added separate ringlet falls. I'm also wearing "Waiting for Midnight" lipstick, "Illusion White" foundation, and loose white powder..."

Above is Crab_caution, wearing a Spike wig in Ravished, who says:
" I wore the Ziggy costume to a Rocky Horror Picture Show on Saturday. Unfortunately I didn't get a good picture of the makeup - a friend took picture #1 before the show (you can see the gold lips, but not the interesting stuff with mica/eyeshadow) and by the time I got home and took #2, some of the makeup was gone from snogging.

I think Bowie did his Ziggy Stardust makeup with red powder over white powder, although I have no idea how he created that gold forehead dot or gold lips. I didn't have a red powder, so I just used a red smudge heavily around the eyes and lightly around the temples, jawline and cheeks. You can't see it in the photo, but what made it look kind of interesting was a little bit of Murder eyeshadow on the eye, temple, and hollow of the cheek. If you take your time and blend it well, the contrast between bright flat smudge on the face's high points and darker, shimmery eyeshadow gets a good effect.

I had a little Blood mica dust left, which I brushed onto the red areas, but it didn't stick well and was gone when I checked my makeup before the show.

The "base coat" on the lips is gold glitter eyeliner pencil from a party store, over which I put some almond-colored lip gloss to make them sticky. Then I applied a coat of Croesus dust, just tapping it out onto my finger and rubbing it on. This looked great, in the bathroom - perfect warm dark gold. Unfortunately, it didn't stay well. I should have tried to seal them somehow, even if it was just with hairspray. "

This is the beautiful Rachel from http://www.subcultureofone.com/. When she originally sent us photos of her in her crow costume I ooh'd and aah'd over it, but didn't have a customer gallery to put this photo in!

Besides being decked in tons of feathered finery, she is wearing Pixel handblended lipstick with Pixel handblended lipgloss over (she calls it a "lovely, black vinyl combination if I ever saw one!"). She's wearing matte white pressed powder over her foundation.
