This has a lot of blue in it, but it's still a 'burgundy'. It's a classic matte burgundy, albeit a bluer one. If you're looking for a more intense burgundy with more red tones in it, try Raving Egotist.

Suggestions for use (I always suggest experimenting!): Hands down I love this as an eyeliner with the Stuck on You sealant. Of course this makes an excellent crease or lid color. If you're darker toned, or enjoy dark blushes, you can use this as a purple/burgundy blush as well.
