Some information about our exclusive mineral blushes (aka loose blush).

The difference between our loose mineral blushes and our pigment dusts is that the pigment dusts are only pure cosmetic pigments - nothing else is added to help them adhere better to the skin or go on smoother. Our mineral eyeshadows and blushes have other ingredients added in to help them glide on smoother and adhere better to the skin

Mineral Blushes and mineral eyeshadows are made with the same ingredients. They can be used interchangably, though we recommend you practice safe hygeine by using a disposable applicators if you are going to use them interchangably.

We have chosen not to go down the road of creating your 'ideal' color, not because we're mean cruel people who want to withhold pretty colors from the universe - but because I think that's a process that is best done in person.

The ingredients of our mineral blushes and mineral eyeshadows are:
Sericite (for it's wonderfully silky texture and light diffusing properties)
Kaolin (helps absorb oil)
Magnesium Carbonate (keeps the formula from clumping or caking and adds some color)
Zinc Stearate (provides advanced adherence)
Zinc Oxide (helps with sun protection and provides opacity to the color)
Titanium Dioxide (micronized) (sun protection ingredient, adds opacity and white. Micronized form makes the titanium dioxide much finer, and easier to apply)
May Contain:
Mica (provides texture, light diffusion and slip)
Iron Oxides (colorants and sun protection ingredients): Red, Russet, Brown, Yellow, Blue, Black
Ultramarine (colorants): Blue, Pink. Carmine (colorant)

A few of our mineral blushes and eyeshadows contain D and C colorants to create more vibrant and exciting shades.
